A BRIGHT SUNSHINY DAY— PT.1
On February 22nd, we arrived at The Mission Inn in Sunny Florida to greet Jennifer and Justin on their wedding day. They were both so calm and collected… Justin quietly writing his vows by the window and Jenny swiping her first coat of berry lip balm onto her lips. “You’re early!” she said as she saw us peeking in behind the mirror, and we were. We took our time on this day. Two incredible people were about to get buttoned, zipped and tied to vow their whole lives to one another — that should never ever be rushed. The more weddings we capture the more we grasp the importance of an unhurried and intentional pace and (wouldn’t you know) it has never been easier to be unhurried in the world than now. There is beauty in taking our time in our work but even more so in our everyday lives. We hope you take your time today to find peace in your effort, rest in your action and beauty in each moment, be they breathtaking or ordinary.
We thought it fitting to share a few selected images from Jennifer and Justin’s calm day below (much more from the remainder of their day including sunset portraits soon to follow). In the same way we were intentional about shooting, we are being intentional about sharing so we’ve only posted images from their wedding PRE-CEREMONY… that and we just couldn’t narrow them down. Enjoy!
*SIDENOTE: Their engagement session at Bok Tower Gardens was super dreamy as well -if you have a few more minutes, take a browse for some context. ;)
Did you catch the way Justin was admiring his bride those first few moments of their first look… we lost it when he started crying with his hands clenched to his chest. We’re a sucker for tears in a tuxedo. :) Ok, keep scrolling!
Pure sweetness.
Stay tuned for more from their wedding COMING SOON (with one of our favorite ceremonies we’ve ever photographed). Before you continue on your day, we’d love to know… how are you taking your time this week? Are your mornings a little slower? Are you reading more books? Maybe embracing all this family time? Email us here: hello@reverycompany.com or comment below and share your ways. Praying for you all!
Warmly,
The Lovettes
