A BRIGHT SUNSHINY DAY— PT.2

Together, at last. These two were married over a month ago and we’re still jaw-dropped by each and every moment from their day. One of the most important aspects of our job is preserving memories, all bottled up in time by a curation of photographs… and this bottle is beaming with beauty!

Nothing shouts Florida like the bursting sun, and it surely made its appearance on Jennifer and Justin’s wedding day. If you missed it, we recently shared PART ONE of their gallery on the journal which features a few favorites from them getting ready morning-of, an unforgettable first look and bridal party portraits. But today we are sharing their ceremony and sunset intimates —fair warning this one demands a box of tissues. Enjoy as you browse through one of our favorite days we’ve ever been a part of and tell us what you think in the comments below!!

Almost every single one of these images was captured on film. A format we now incorporate into every one of our collections (in tandem with digital). We began shooting film last year and took months and months of practice to master light in a way we had never done before in our business, and it has been by far the most rewarding pursuit. Film photographers often shoot for quality instead of quantity in clicking the shutter at just the right moments; we aim to slow down with the hope to truly capture the emotion of our couples so they can be felt through their photographs months, years, generations later. These sunset portraits are the perfect proclamation of this art — instead of rapidly triggering our fingers and pointing our lenses every which-way, each shutter-clicks was thoughtful and authentic… heartfelt glances, romantic embraces, a soft kiss, a light touch. It was breathtaking. And so should be every image of moments like these.
