THE PORCH PORTRAIT PROJECT OF 2020

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, love continues to be more contagious. Our hearts are heavy for those who are hurting due to the ramifications laid bare through global shut-downs, unemployment, and so much more yet we remain hopeful through the storm!

During the first few weeks of stay-at-home orders, we participated in a project and offered 10minute sessions to families stuck in their homes. Below are a collection of images including front-line nurses, night-shift doctors, fostering families, newlyweds, recently engaged, expecting mothers, and their beautiful families celebrating life no matter their circumstances. These photographs bring us comfort and we hope in sharing them you find some also as you look into the faces of incredible people living life in uncertainty.

Our family was able to have a little front porch session too before things began to take a turn in our city and we are so very thankful for these images. They remind us of the simple yet marvelous blessing we have in one another —come what may.
