When we moved our entire life across the east coast and left our home, jobs and community, “transition” naturally became the theme of 2019. But we can say right now just shy of a fresh new year, we have needed every moment of the upheaval.

Through the abandonment of daily rhythms we built and practiced before this year, we have quickly found stability by rebuilding our foundation. Through the separation from loving friends and thickest family ties, a new community sought us out to help us carry the burdens. And through the hesitancy of fresh pursuits as photographers in the unknown, we are passionately emerging from new depths of creative exploration than ever before.

Within all these transitions, this same year has brought us Revery Company - our very own business built from a single prayer and we are overwhelmed by how much it has completely changed our lives. And as we reflect on the many transitions that have taken place in life and in business, there are 3 important virtues we plan to pour our everything into in 2020:

We are so SO very excited to announce that as an aid to these fresh goals, we will now be using film to photograph sessions, weddings and events! Film is a medium that we have recently fallen in love with behind the lens which captures light and color in such a beautifully unique way that we couldn’t withhold it from you any longer. Photographing in film and in digital will allow us to deliver photographs that will stand the test of time and we’ve been working behind the scenes to give you a little preview of what’s to come.
